Yesterday was my first full day of my practicum experience. I'm really excited about everything going on at UNMC, and all of the folks that I've met are wonderful. I spent my morning getting the lay of the land with Dr. Nancy Woefl, library director, and discussing strategic planning and library issues (more on this meeting in a separate post). After a very nice lunch at one of the hospital eateries, we had a very good discussion on the Web 2.0 materials that I'll be working on creating.
My next several posts will be an in-depth discussion of these two chunks of yesterday's time, but I figured we had to start somewhere!
